Wild Wild West Tour 2026

 Unfortunately, this tris has to be cancelled due to the fuel crisis.

It's on again, this year we'll be touring around north western NSW.
We will be doing some free camping as well as paid camp sites an need to be fairly fully self sufficient. Campers/ smaller caravans will be ok, but may have to do a detour near the end of the trip, more details to come.
Start point on Good Friday morning will be Rathdowney showgrounds (camping available if you want to head down Thursday night). 

Friday will see us traveling the Lions Rd, visiting the scenic railway loop then continuing on the Summerland way to Casino for lunch. from there westwards to Tabulam then the Clarence way to our campspot at Copmanhurst.
 

Saturday we will travel along the old Grafton/Glen Innes Rd, visiting Stonehenge, on to Guyra and the motor museum there, then onto our stop for the night at Deano's Smoked Trout farm for a fishing comp. (Gear and bait etc available to rent))

Sunday we will overland to Inverell then northwards to the southern most point of the QLD border and a lunch stop at a small winery, there will be pizzas available for those who want to buy lunch. from there through Tenterfield, down Rocky river road to our completely off grid (No showers, toilets or phone service) camp at Lederville by the water.
 

Monday will see us heading north on mostly dirt roads through to the border with a lunch stop at Urbanville pub before continuing home via the My Lindesay Hwy.
