MDORC Christmas Party

Members are invited to participate in all or some of the events planned for the weekend.

 Events - MDORC Christmas Party

Friday 1st December 4pm - Gate 2, Murrembong Scout Camp, 135 Scout Road, Kurwongbah, Q, 4503, Campsite 10. Fees: Adults: $15/night, Youth 5-17 yrs: $9/night, Child up to 4: FREE. Payment to be made to MDORC by cash or eftpos at arrival to camp. 

Saturday 2nd December 8am - 3pm - Driver Awareness course - includes theory, vehicle inspection, practical driving and recovery exercises. A separate event will be created in Member Jungle for those who wish to attend to register. Day use fees: $5/person for those participants who are not camping. 

Saturday 2nd December 4pm - Drawing of the "Mega Christmas Raffle" live from camp on facebook. To check out the current prize list and purchase your tickets please head to Events - Super Mega Christmas Raffle (mdorc.org.au) Tickets will be available for cash purchase at Murrembong

Saturday 2nd December 5pm - Santa arrives with gifts for all children under 18. The club will purchase gifts, please email wendy.prowse@mdorc.org.au with the following details for each child attending with you: Name, Age, Gender. Distribution of club member shirts as pre ordered. 

Saturday 2nd December 6.30pm - Dinner and Live Music. The club will cover the cost of catering for members and temporary members, The meal is catered by A-Trek camp oven catering and will consist of a selection of roast meats, vegetables, cold meats and salads. Guests are required to pay $20 per head. BYO alcohol/drinks for everyone. 

Sunday 3rd December - enjoy camp, recovery breakfast and conversation, pack up and head home. 

We look forward to catching up with you and your family at some stage across the weekend and hope you can join us for camping and/or dinner. There are no showers onsite, it is a short walk to the toilet block and we will have a portaloo in camp as well. Campers must bring their own drinking water to Murrembong Scout camp.
