February is the best month as it is mostly hatching with the possibility of also seeing some eggs being laid still depending on the weather. Bookings for the Mon Repos Conservation Centre open on September the 1st each year and must be paid for at the time of booking. The first booking is the earliest time slot to depart and watch when the turtles start hatching, so I will be phoning at 9am on September the first to make our booking.
Size of group is limited to 50 people. It is far easier to book and ask for a refund if you can't attend than decide later that you would like to attend.
This is a great experience and quite hands on and interactive for children. I suggest a nap Saturday afternoon as it can be a late night as we wait for nature to take it's course.
Please register your interest by Thursday 31st August.
