Moreton Districts Visits Springs 4X4 Park
Amazing club weekend at the Springs 4x4 park just outside Warwick Qld. Great four-wheel driving, camping and sitting around a campfire. MDORC is an enjoyable club that welcomes families and all other types of people. We are diverse and tackle all sorts of driving. Moreton Districts Off Road Club has been around for over 50 years, a Queensland Icon. Emily was on the Camera this weekend and she has been doing a great job. We spent three days here, Brians Pajero, Noah’s Hilux, Ryans Triton, Simons Landcruiser, Grear’s Suzuki, John’s triton, Justins Navara and Bens Ranger. A good mix of vehicles with different capabilities. Three cars had a go at Beer o’clock hill with all cars taking a drive for the weekend. There was some carnage on the weekend with a broken spring in the triton, The cruiser busted a CV and the Pajero took more bark off- nothing unusual there. We had a fire going each night and some camp oven cooking. Pancakes for Sunday breakfast. We caught up with Lucas who owns the springs and had a good chat. The place is looking really good now. The wind was a bit cold so warm blankets were needed each night.
