As many MDORC members are aware our President and his family have had some very big personal family circumstances to attend recently so hence I am standing in to fill this void for him. I will do my best ‘cause he’s got big boots compared to mine, and those boots have given support to many club members when in need so I would just like to say that as a club we are family and to Tiny and Leighanne and family thank you for all the support you give your MDORC family. A strong club is testament to the integrity, dedication and commitment of its committee and this club is certainly up there. We have our little tussles from time to time due to the commitment of our committee members with their hearts in the right place to make sure that everything is done in line with their position of responsibility for the betterment of our club. As such I would like to say a big THANK YOU to all committee members for your continued commitment to this club for the coming year. All previous office bearer’s positions remained the same with the inclusion of Belinda Halpin as Fundraising Officer, welcome Belinda. There have been many wonderful friendships and bonds formed within the MDORC family and the unforgettable times shared not just offroading but at social events and sitting around campfires, the sharing and caring are great rewards for our committee and give us the incentive to continue to build and maintain a solid structure for all our club members to enjoy. This all happens under the great leadership of our President, thank you Tiny. Another great President’s Night was enjoyed by all in attendance. A big shout out to Simon and Emily again for hosting another great night which resulted in the following awards being handed out.
