We have also had a trip to Landcruiser Mountain Park on 17th/18th, more of which from Evan and Aleisha who ran the trip next month.
We also managed to get a cancellation for a Sausage Sizzle at Bunning Rothwell on Sunday the 18th. The Sausage Sizzle was a very busy day and I would like to thank (in no particular order) the following members for stepping up and helping out.
Helen Duncan, Stuart and Jean Roberts, Miranda, Michael and Adam Buckley, Rob and Christine Braun, Eddie and Laurraine Carleton and Colin and Ashleigh Doohan.
The day was a bit warm but everyone soldiered on regardless. We took over $1000 and made $532 clear profit with some supplies left over for the next sizzle in May. The ice cold drinks proved to be very popular as the temperature hit 34° C.
Genny and myself had to nip up to Central Queensland and on the way Masters at Northlakes rang and asked if we could manage a cancellation. Unfortunately we had to refuse the offer as it was a bit too close after the Bunnings one.
As stated earlier we have another one planned for May and will be looking for volunteers to once again lend a hand.
