The trips began on Saturday morning with all us of doing different trips. The Mitsubishi Club did a great job organising the trips and the pre trip marshalling area was well organised and set up. Andrew and I had to drop out of our Saturday trip but did manage to tag along with our booked trip on Sunday. We did the trip named THE CHEESE WHEEL. All trips were named after cheeses in reference to the event being held at Kenilworth with the popular cheese factory being there.
Our trip spun us around in a big circle going through the local state forest which included some hoop pine plantations and rainforest sections. There were many hilly sections with steep climbs and steep descents. Some of the sections were very powdery and rocky making them quite slippery. We had 10 cars in our group and it was a great challenging drive that lasted about 2 hours. Very professionally done by the Mitsubishi 4wd club. All up I think we all had a great weekend and we all experienced different trips which kept the camp fire conversation on Saturday night interesting.

John & I did three trips at Corroboree, we did Cheese Wheel, Blue Castello and Tasty Cheese. Blue Castello A drive through native bushland, Hoop Pine Plantations a little rocky, hill climbs and a steep decent with a glimpse of cool sub tropical rainforests. This trip was very enjoyable took about 2 hours, Mitsubishi Club did a great job of trip leading and giving us a run down on the history of the area. Tasty Cheese This track started by climbing up into native rainforests, then through a dark Hoop Pine Plantation as well as some amazing rainforest areas. There was a hill climb some narrow sections and bumps and lumps. It was a pretty drive with some occasional heart stopping moment. Jo did a description for Cheese Wheel. All up we had a great weekend, it was great to get to know Trent, Tina and Josh Loxton. Always great to camp with Jo, Andrew, Abi and Lulu. Bluff Creek Campgrounds was lovely, plenty of amenities. Thankyou,
